Born in Porto - Portugal 1972

Starts artistic path in Porto’s S. Mamede de Infesta theater as cast and direction member in a total of 5 annual summer productions

 

Studies Ballet, Hip Hop & Break Dance complementing them with some Jazz, Pop and other forms of body expression

​

Joined the athletic and acrobatic teams of St. Julian’s School in Carcavelos - Lisbon

​

 (1990 – 2000)

 

Completes in 1995 her PHD in Management & Corporative Administration at the Lusíada University in Lisbon

 

From 1995 to 1996 was a Euro RSCG assistant in the field of corporative events and brand launches

​

Has been a Warner Music consultant in the events sector from 1996 to 2000

​

Managed the shows and events department from Aquaparque Restelo between 1996 - 1997

​

Was production partner at Eutaxia - Assessoria Cultural from 1996 to 1998 for the corporative events field

​

In 1996 she co-founds Nirvana Productions for whom she designs and manage several dozens of corporative events and multimedia happenings for movies and records from studios such as Polygram, BMG, Sony, Warner, Universal, among others

 

In 1997 she’s co-author of the Portuguese Phonographic Association’s digital Award

She’s co-author of the international platform Nirvana Roadshows which offers dozens of exotic vehicles and roadshow trucks for corporate tours

Assists and follows the Cabaret Rock and Diesel Punk performances workshops conducted by Michel Gigolo during the pre Custom Circus period

 

Attends in Lisbon a Burlesque and Vintage Cabaret performing dance course at Reflexo

 

Takes part in Madrid on workshops and master classes of Goth & Tribal Bellydance

 

In 2002 she’s co-founder of the Custom Circus theater company for whom she produces the shows:

In the performing choreographic strand she also begans training in Tribal Goth and Cyber Industrial aesthetics in Portugal and Spain

Complements performer training with master classes of suspension and aerial Nouveau Cirque stunts at Armazém 13 (Aerial Hoop), Jazzy Studios (Aerial Dance) and at Jaya Aerial School (Hammock Suspension)

 

In 2004 signs exclusivity with Custom Circus as na actress, choreographer, producer and visual artist, producing for this company the following shows:

Since the beginning of this company she managed all the casting and performed as an actress in more than 800 Custom Circus shows

Other Facts:

​

Daniella inheritated a female DNA from two independent and entrepreneurs Grand'Grand'Mothers which alone provided for their sons amongst difficulties and the sacred mathematical biblical spirit of multiplication, since one had six children and the other just nine in a time where machism wasn't an issue and a Mother should always be smiling even with the house on fire.

​

With her roots in Porto and some antagony with her life in the city, she will never forget the wild and free childhood she had with the Grand Parents in the long vacation runs in the mountains of Marão. She grew up with some opposite point of views from her Parents, between a very authoritary Mother and rule follower which inspired her sense of management, and a Father total music business man, radio and a pioneer of the video in Portugal, which very soon influenced her artistic personality.

​

Driven, stuborn and loyal to her ideals, she conquered an early independence extremely scarce within 1980's Portuguese girls. Well before 18 she terrorized the old ladies from the neighborhood with her motorbike and also shamed the local rockers going alone to London supporting bands like Van Halen. In Carcavelos-Lisbon she studied for long years in the British College St.Julians, but sun, beach and Pop Culture lover she lived her teens as a hard core street rollerskater and an experimentalist of all the dance styles on vogue in that period.

​

As the non official assistent of her father she always had a free pass "access all areas" which allowed her to be part of the entourage on dozens of tours and concerts such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, U2, Red Hot Chilli Pepers, among many others. And having a father who was the CO of Warner Music Portugal for several years opened her horizons towards an international scale and granted her the oportunity to consolidate a large group of friends inside the show, media and marketing industries. Such fact also enriched by her experience as part time advertiser and model would guide her decision to create her own marketing & events company, after her PHD in Management.

Allthough the future may not always be so obvious and once upon a time in a beautifull day of 1994, being very late for an event, this bold creature exceeded fearless all the speed limits in her old 1972 VW convertible, she never could have guessed she was going to meet a couple of crazy nut jobs loaded with absurd projects, which against all ods would become her partners for the last 23 years. And they are the first to agree that if this 3rd nut job never had believe in them nobody else had! And probably they would end up as mercenaries in an Indian SS cargo or as masters of ceremonies in some Siberian Freak Show.
